I went to McCarthy Tents & Events to add bistro lighting for a little ambiance under the wedding reception tent and they did not disappoint! Their lights gave the extra oomph the tent needed to have that romantic ambiance you want for a wedding :) The entire staff was friendly and easy to get in touch with, and the person installing the lights sent me pictures to make sure it was what I envisioned!read more

The wedding was spectacular! All went well, starting with the weather. McCarthy's wonderful crew set up the tents in the POURING RAIN 2 days in advance. It kept the ground underneath somewhat drier, and thus was completely dry by Saturday.
The service was awesome - the staff always provided prompt answers to my many questions over 6 months, and had great flexibility near the end with my additions and subtractions. I was quite impressed with how spacious the 40'x100' tent was with 200+ people inside it! I highly recommend McCarthy's for any event!read more

We had a fantastic experience working with McCarthy Tents & Events. They came highly recommended by the caterer we chose for our barn wedding and did not disappoint. Their delivery, set-up and pick-up were all prompt and seamless. Communication was continuous and easy throughout the process. At one point, we almost had to choose a different champagne flute for our table setting due to the high demand of wedding season, however, McCarthy went the extra mile and ordered additional flutes specifically for us to rent for the wedding. I rented a white dance floor for my indoor wedding at the Sheraton At the Falls in Niagara Falls in New York. From start to finish, everything went well with McCarthy Tents & Events. I am an out of country bride, and so excellent communication via email was important to me. The staff were very professional, and communication was amazing. I have worked with McCarthy on countless weddings and events. As an event planner, they are my go to rental company! We have done small linen orders to full wedding tents with all the fixings. They always deliver great products! When getting linens from McCarthy, they are always clean - which is not the case with every rental company. The tent we got from McCarthy's was a big beautiful double poled white tent that immediately brought a festive look to the yard. A crew came, led (I think) by Adam Bentivegna; they were responsible and responsive and a pleasure to work with. LIghts on the tent added a welcome touch. I also got the 12' x 12' dance floor which for my party was a little small (around 80 people) but aside from that, everything went smoothly with getting the tent up and down and I would gladly return as a customer again.read more

The day has not quite arrived yet. So far the service has been very pleasant and efficient. But they can not pinpoint a 4 hour window when they may arrive to set up. To just say they will call you 30 minutes prior is not helpful. When you are planning a large party, that's not exactly a timetable that works. I would think by the day before, you could pinpoint either morning or afternoon for a delivery schedule.read more

I connected with Mike (based out of Buffalo) at McCarthy's for ALL my rental needs for our backyard wedding (tent, tables and chairs, lights, ovens, grills, plates, silverware, linens, EVERYTHING) and had a truly fantastic experience. With all the moving pieces that go into a wedding the rentals was a piece I never worried about. Every time I called (planning this from Boston) all my questions were answered by Mike or someone on the team. Costs were always clear and the set up and take down were seamless. We rented catering equipment, chairs and flatware from McCarthy for a July 2018 wedding and were thrilled with their services, and the quality of the items we rented. This is a very well-run, organized, and upstanding company to work with! Whenever we called, each person we spoke to was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. The team allowed us to make changes to our order right up to the last minute, and were super responsive. We'd happily work with them again anytime!
My family and I have used MT&E for many events, including the most important....my wedding day. From the beginning of the process, to the end, including all the changes in between, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My husband and I are so grateful we found this wonderful company to work with for our wedding! We got married in NY but live in Maine, so we completely relied on our vendors having excellent communication, which Rick had from day one. He was helpful, insightful, and prompt at responding. We were incredibly impressed when he offered to do a site visit a few month's before our wedding when we were in town (over a two hour drive one way) - above and beyond for sure! We had questionable weather the week before our event, and the team worked with us to get our tent up as early as possible to keep the ground dry. Everything we rented from them (tables, chairs, tent, dance floor, bar, wine barrels, etc.) was in great condition, and the team that delivered it/set the tent up was very helpful, efficient, and kind. We loved their selection of rental items, and the fact that they were willing to deliver to the Watertown area. We highly recommend anyone looking for a smooth rental process with a company who treats you like family to look no further than McCarthy's. Thank you all so much for everything!
These guys are absolutely top notch. Jeff was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and extremely detail oriented - perfect for an event planner bride!! He responded to all my emails with thoughtful suggestions and guidance, and spent at least 5 hours with me in person or on the phone near the end of the planning process to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. I was especially impressed with all of the detailed notes that Jeff included in the order itself so there were very few questions when everything was being installed. We also changed our mind on something the last minute due to weather, and Jeff was positive and receptive to the change and his guys did a magnificent job. The tent was better than I could have imagined. Their prices are fair to boot! They publish their entire catalog online, so you know exactly what you get, and the delivery fees to Ithaca were perfectly fair. As an event planner, I need to work with vendors that I trust to get the job done right, and Jeff made me feel 100% comfortable with everything - I could not recommend them ENOUGH!
We rented McCarthy Tents for a backyard graduation party. In the planning stages of the event the staff was accommodating and knowledgeable when it came to sizes and needs to make our celebration successful. The men who set up and took down the tent were efficient and respectful. The tent, tables and chairs were all in great condition and clean. The tent looked beautiful and provided a cool, nicely shaded area for our guest to eat. With McCarthy Tents & Events you won't be disappointed!

Our daughter was married June 17th at Knox Farms in East Aurora NY. We had the ceremony as well as dinner outside. Were rented the tent, chairs and the arch for the ceremony. We were so pleased with this company. Everything was clean and in good condition. The men who came to do the set up and tear down were very professional and friendly And we can't thank Nate enough for all his help in the planning process. We used McCarthy for our wedding in 2012 and they were fantastic! I've used them for my son's 1st, 2nd and soon to be 3rd birthday parties and plan on continuing that trend as long as I have his parties. Everyone is so personable and just amazing to work with!
Everyone at McCarthy rental was wonderful to work with! They were always there and understanding when I had questions or made changes to my order. The end results were amazing! My only disappointment was in the heaters. I really never thought to ask about those and they were not what I expected and weren't what I really wanted. But that could have been avoided if I took the time to inquire about them. So my suggestion is to take the time to ask questions about every detail!

McCarthys' did an incredible job for my daughter's wedding. The weather turned cold and rainy and the staff came 3 times to set up additional tents and tunnels to create a beautiful and dry setting. McCarthy's just did our outdoor wedding (tent, chairs, tables, linens, everything!) and we couldn't have been happier with our experience!! From the guys who respond to emails to the crew who sets up, we were 110% satisfied with our experience! We ended up being short a few tables, and I realized it a mere day prior, and the guys at the warehouse were quick to get what we needed together so it could be picked up. Amazing customer service and we will forever consider McCarthy's for our future needs!
We only rented 4 highchairs for a baby shower I was throwing, but they looked new and were so clean that I didn't even put my highchair cover on it. McCarthy Tents and Events is amazing, even for small jobs like ours!
