The McCarthy name
Since 2007, Sean McCarthy has worked relentlessly to build the tents and events company he believed his friends and neighbors in the Rochester area deserved. He gained trust and referrals in the early days by personally going above and beyond for every customer. Today, he still works tirelessly on every facet of the business, even set-ups and tear-downs, in pursuit of giving every client that elevated experience. With his name on the door, Sean feels a personal responsibility to give every job his all.

What size tent, dance floor, etc. do I need?These are the most common questions asked by people looking for wedding tents and wedding rentals. To accommodate the various items at a reception, such as a dance floor or bar area, wedding tents tend to be larger than a standard backyard party setup. Based on guest count, below is a rough guide to the types of additional rentals you’ll need to consider for underneath a wedding tent. McCarthy Tents & Events offers power generators for remote locations, but for any tented event it’s important to consider where your power will come from, how much power you’ll need, and the safety logistics behind it all. You may need power for evening lighting, a band / DJ and possibly a caterer. Each vendor should be able to tell you how much power they will need, then we can help guide you from there.
Bathrooms
Definitively not an item to overlook! McCarthy Tents & Events now offers Luxury Restroom Trailers available in 2, 5, and 9 stall sizes. Add the comfort and convenience of home with water and electricity along with elegant furnishings to any outdoor event. The trailers include granite countertops, vessel sinks, music, heat/AC, soap dispensers, trash receptacles, mirrors and soft lighting. Great for weddings, festivals and more! Money-Saving Tip!
Looking to save money on glassware and china? If you’re open to your serving style, place settings, surprisingly, are less expensive than buffets. The reason is that in buffets, guests do not reuse their plates, whereas seated they simply use what they’re provided. This also saves on back end cleaning fees and labor.
